A business coach is focused on helping you with generic skills, whereas a mentor’s aim is to teach you based on specific situations.
My gift of intuition, business acumen and high emotional intelligence work together to create the most empowering, successful and effective leaders in their respective industries.

Leadership competencies in leading the organization, yourself and others is influenced by the personal empowerment of you as a leader. Many leaders who do not understand their own limitations, drivers and abilities will always be in a position to feel as though they are ‘playing catch up!’ The lack of awareness creates unnecessary obstacles to achieving goals. Problems may be temporarily resolved, but if you find the same ones coming back, time and time, again–the issue isn’t what is on the outside, but within you.
Many leaders are perfectionists. Perfectionism costs money, time and creates ill will across a company. The truth of perfectionism is to avoid criticism or failure. It is not a positive psychological trait nor is it much of an incentive to employees. It’s deep roots are actually buried in a need to prove oneself from a place of lack, not abundance or generosity. There is no empowerment in perfectionism, not personally or organizationally.
Authentic leaders do not set unreasonable expectations of themselves and those in the company they lead. Accountability in authentic leadership is not focused strictly on the bottom line; it includes real opportunities for personal empowerment, inspirational decision-making, less employee and client attrition, plus tremendous growth potential.
In psychology there are two terms: An internal locus of control and an external locus of control. An internal locus of control has been proven to be what creates emotional intelligence. Many people have a high IQ, but have a very low EQ, based on their perspective, which shows up as an external locus of control. Outside events are what controls the individual with a lower EQ.
A highly intelligent person may spend their time trying to strategize every possible outcome in a situation. This person may think they have all their bases covered, but sooner or later this way of operating blows up into a crisis or loss. This way of trying to control outside events, with thinking in potential scenarios that have not happened yet, is by far inauthentic and inconsistent. It is doomed to fail. It is also not a way to actually experience fulfilling success.
IQ can give a person success, but what type of success? Something, which feels empty and only drives the individual to conquer the next empty mountain?
EQ is about empowerment, living with a great sense of well-being, wholeness and trust in oneself. People with a high EQ, stay focused on their initiatives, which are based on fulfillment, confidence, personal happiness and creating possibility where the future looks impossibly bleak. They are the game changers!
People with a high EQ are not swept up in the latest storm, they steer the ship through the storm, knowing it is temporary and sunny skies await them on the other side.
Richard Branson and Martin Luther King Jr are examples of leaders who are authentic, exhibiting a high EQ.
Do any of the following describe you?
1. You’re successful, but internally you get knocked off balance easily and because you’ve trained yourself not to show your reaction, everyone believes you have it handled?
2. Do you please others believing they now owe you and must live up to your incredibly high expectations?
3. Are you accessible and open? How down to earth are you?
4. When you treat people ‘right’, do you still feel they are the real issue, not you?
5. Do you listen to the opinions of those around you?
6. Do you lead with fear?
7. Do you trust your own decisions? How much counsel do you receive before you decide?
8. Do people genuinely like working with you?
9. Do you go for the impossible or stay within the limitations of what is proven?
I can guarantee that if some or all of the answers to those questions are disconcerting then working with me, will improve and dramatically change your life, your business and the way you lead toward extraordinary results.
For a limited time, I am offering the opportunity to apply for a complimentary session to leaders who are ready to dare to have a greater sense of well-being, become their most authentic, confident and successful self in all areas of their life.
If this is you, please email me to apply today.
